Boat Storage:

To measure the length of a boat trailer, you will need to measure from the front of the trailer (where the hitch is located) to the back of the boat (where the transom or stern is located). It is important to measure the boat while it is on the trailer, as the length can vary depending on how the boat is positioned. Use a tape measure or a measuring wheel to get an accurate measurement.

RV Storage:

To measure an RV for storage, you will need to determine the length and width. The length can be measured from the front of the RV to the back, including any attachments such as a hitch or a bike rack. The width can be measured at the widest point of the RV, typically at the mirrors.  Once you have these measurements, you can use them to determine the size of storage space needed to accommodate the RV.

Vehicle Storage:

To measure a vehicle for storage, you will need to determine the length and width of the vehicle. The length can be measured from the front of the vehicle to the back, including any attachments such as a hitch or a bike rack. The width can be measured at the widest point of the vehicle, typically at the mirrors or the side view mirrors.  Once you have these measurements, you can use them to determine the size of storage space needed to accommodate the vehicle. It’s also important to consider any additional items on the vehicle, such as a bike rack, roof box, or luggage carrier.

Trailer Storage:

To measure a trailer for storage, you will need to determine the length and width of the trailer. The length can be measured from the front of the trailer to the back, including any attachments such as a hitch or a spare tire carrier. The width can be measured at the widest point of the trailer, typically at the side walls or fenders.  Once you have these measurements, you can use them to determine the size of storage space needed to accommodate the trailer. It’s good to note that measuring the tongue and hitch is also important, as it will help you to figure out how much space the trailer will take when it is hitched to a vehicle.
