Lake Shetek State Park occupies 1,108 acres on the southeastern shore of the lake. The campground offers 70 campsites across two campground loops: Oak Woods (32 electric-only sites plus 4 year-round camper cabins) and Sunrise (32 full-hookup sites with electric, water, and sewer for RVs up to 72 feet). Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and showers, fire pits and grills, picnic tables, firewood for sale, and a seasonal dump station. A $7/day or $35/year vehicle permit is required. Equipment rentals available at the park office (kayaks, canoes, SUPs, paddleboats). Pet-friendly with leash rules.

Schreier’s on Shetek offers a more intimate camping experience directly on the lake’s eastern shore. Features seasonal and nightly campsite rentals with full hookups (electric, water, sewer), WiFi, a boat ramp, mini golf, movie nights, and direct lake access. Family-friendly with a playground and activities throughout the summer.

Valhalla Island Campground is a seasonal getaway right on the shores of Lake Shetek. Offers 111 campsites with 50-amp electric service and full hookups (electric, water, sewer). Amenities include a dump station, cabin rental, boat ramp, playground, and direct lake access. Both daily and seasonal rates available.
