Lake Shetek’s 3,462 acres provide plenty of room for pontoon cruising, fishing boats, kayaking and canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, and swimming at the state park beach.

Lake Shetek State Park features 14 miles of trails including the Loon Island Trail (1.5-mile interpretive loop on a 45-acre island bird sanctuary), Casey Jones Trail (6-mile paved loop connecting to Currie), and Prairie and Woodland Trails through restored prairies and 250-year-old oak groves.
